Hello Everyone,
The Tennessee Valley Region of the Walter P. Chrysler Club and Robert & Laqueta Soule cordially invite all owners and/or enthusiasts of C-Body, Forward Look, and earlier, Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, Chrysler, Imperial, and Packard Motor Company products to attend the Chattanooga Chrysler, Imperial, & Packard Meet in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the weekend of May 22 - 24, 2009. As we have been invited to participate in a number of Packard events in Alabama we want to return the favor with an invitation for Packard owners to attend our event!
Make your plans now to attend the 2009 Chattanooga Chrysler, Imperial, & Packard Meet. We had an excellent meet last year in Chattanooga and we are looking forward to another fine meet in Chattanooga. Tons of pictures with accompanying text of last year's Meet in Chattanooga can be found below and at: http://home.chattanooga.net/~soule/mt06/ Last year's meet was a blast and this years should be just as much fun, if not more! And remember -- this meet is open to *ALL* C Body Chrysler products! So polish that chrome, wax that paint, shine those tires, and come to the 2009 Chattanooga Chrysler, Imperial and Packard Meet in Chattanooga, TN, on May 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.
Please, as most of this event is held at a private residence, pets are not allowed.

Accommodations
- No hotel accommodations have been reserved specifically for this event.
*** The Only HOTEL IN SODDY DAISY is the Hometown Inn.*** Located in beautiful
downtown Soddy-Daisy and just a few miles from the Soule's residence this Hotel
would be the closest place for attendees to stay. The Hotel is only a
couple of years old. Take a look at their web site at: http://www.hometowninnsoddydaisy.com/
Honestly, the owners are not as friendly as they should be so you should
consider the hotels in Hixson. Call (423) 332-7755 for reservations. Be sure to mention you are attending
the 2007 Chrysler & Imperial Meet and you will receive a modest discount.
(They may or may not give you a discount, I have never been able to figure these
folks out!)
Other good alternatives are: HomeAway Extended Stay Hotel in Hixson (423) 643-4663 (I highly recommended this hotel), the Holiday Inn in Hixson (423) 877-6464 or the Hampton Inn also in Hixson (423) 877-3100, Tennessee all three are located on the north side of Chattanooga and are easily accessible from Interstate 75, 24, and Hwy 153. Either would provide a good, centrally located base from which to operate. There are other accommodations readily available in the Hixson, TN, area. Please do consider making your hotel reservations as early as possible.
Be sure to bring your lawn chairs to enjoy under the shade trees at the
Soules' house!
All
hotel reservations are the responsibility of each individual.
Directions/information
- The attachments are maps to aid you in finding both the Hampton Inn and Robert
& Laqueta's home for the Friday evening cookout.
To find the Hampton Inn, reference both maps "A"
& "B". The Hampton Inn is
located about half a block off Highway 153 just north of Chattanooga. The
address for the Hampton Inn is: 1920 Hamill Road, Hixson, Tennessee. If for some
reason you cannot locate the hotel, their number is: (423) 877-3100.
To locate the Soules' residence, located at: 10731 Hixson Pike, Soddy
Daisy, Tennessee, reference maps "C"
& "D". From the Hampton Inn,
turn right (East) onto Hamill Road, then left (North) at the light onto Highway
153. Follow 153 North 4.6 miles to US 27. Take US 27 North 8.2 miles and Exit at
the Hixson Pike and/or SR-319 exit, as shown on map 2. At the top of the ramp
turn right (East). In 0.6 miles the road will split. Bear left and continue on
Hixson Pike for another 3.1 miles. Our residence is on the right with the street
number, 10731, marked on a post at the end of the driveway. Approaching from
that direction, it is a little difficult to see the driveway. Therefore, I will
mark the driveway with 2 United States flags.
Questions or lost? Robert's phone numbers: (423) 313-4282 Home

Chattanooga Chrysler Meet, c/o Robert M. Soule, 10731 Hixson Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN
37379-3760
All Meet participants are requested to read and follow the rules of courtesy and
agree to the terms of the
liability statement at the bottom of this sheet.
Please observe the following rules of etiquette while participating in the Meet:
1. Don't assume the owner wants you to drive his car. If he wants others driving
it and if you express enough interest, he will probably offer. However, you
should wait to be extended an invitation. This will avoid placing the owner in
an uncomfortable position where he has to refuse to let someone drive his car.
2. Please, drive the cars with care. These cars are not muscle cars or modern
street rods. They are antiques
that the owners have invested a considerable amount of time and money into
restoring. Squealing tires and hard accelerations will result in revocation of
your driving privileges. Just because you drive your own car flat out, doesn't
mean everyone does.
3. These meets are NOT "judged shows" and derogatory comments about
attendees' cars is prohibited. Some, if not many, of the Meet participants have
driven cars that are either unrestored original cars, cars in the process of
being restored, or daily drivers. Derogatory comments can discourage current, as
well as potential participants. We do not want to discourage anyone from
attending these Meets! If you can't say something nice, just be quiet!
4. While you will not likely find many "do not touch" signs on the cars at these Meets, some basic rules of etiquette should be observed by all
attendees: Wipe your feet before entering vehicle. Don't sit or lean on cars.
Watch your belt buckles (Belt buckles and riveted blue jeans are not conducive
to paint jobs.) Do not take any food or beverages in vehicles.
Thank you for your cooperation and have an enjoyable Meet!
LIABILITY: By entering this event, I agree to and understand that
the Tennessee Valley Region of the Walter P. Chrysler Club and/or the event
organizers, the sponsors, hosts, and/or promoters of this event, participating
clubs, their agents, employees, or club members, will not be liable or
responsible for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to, damage to
vehicles, theft, loss of life, or accidents while traveling to and from the
event, as well as during the event. I also understand that failure to follow the
rules may result in expulsion from the event.
Please, as most of this event is held at a private residence, pets are not allowed.
Many Thanks, Robert & Laqueta
