Bristol, Chattanooga, and Knoxville, Tennessee

What Does Bridge Do to Support Sponsors?
  1. Bridge provides interpreters.
  2. Bridge trains the refugee resettlement team prior to the family's arrival.
  3. Bridge staff provide orientation for the family shortly after arrival (a member of the sponsorship team needs to be present.)
  4. Bridge staff provides case management for 90 days.

Refugees have been described as "ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances." Similarly, sponsors are ordinary people carrying out an extraordinary ministry. Both refugee and sponsor take a leap of faith. Refugees take the bold step of abandoning their homeland; sponsors take the bold step as members of a committed group to work with someone they know nothing about before the family arrives. These leaps of faith happen every day across the U.S.

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE -
ONE FAMILY AT A TIME
