About Bridge Refugee Services
The staff at Chattanooga Bridge office consists of a Sponsorship Developer, Volunteer Coordinators and 2 Case Managers. The Sponsorship Developer is responsible for recruiting and training sponsors. She also coordinates office staff, volunteers and programs. Volunteer Coordinators enlist, train, and supervise volunteers, who provide services for Bridge clients. The Case Manager serves as a resource person, problem-solver and advocate. The case manager works closely with sponsors and refugees providing necessary referrals and information. They assist with the refugee's job search and can help the sponsors with cultural and adaptation issues. The program is supported by a local Advisory Committee which meets quarterly, an Executive Board which meets quarterly in Knoxville, and the Executive Director and other support staff in our main office in Knoxville.
